Course: Intermediate Photographic Practices

Description: Advanced black and white and beginning color techniques utilizing 35 mm film SLR cameras, film scanners, computers and digital printers as a bridge from analog to digital technologies. Students develop a mastery of the 35mm SLR camera and film processing, image input using scanners, image workflow with Adobe Bridge, image editing using Adobe Photoshop, and image output using Epson inkjet printers. Students use these techniques as a creative tool within a contemporary, artistic context.
